Course Description   

This course will highlight the various digital pathways for digital denture design and fabrication, development of milled and printed materials, and understanding the advantages and limitations of digital denture workflow.

Course Objectives

 

  1. Understand the history of digital dentures and various software and dental materials utilized 
  2. Identify appropriate patient and case selection for digital dentures  
  3. Optimize communication between the doctor and the lab technician
  4. Learn the various digital denture pathways: Reference Denture, Interim/immediate, Hybrid and Completely Digital
  5. Understand advantages and limitations of the digital denture pathway

About Dr. Hauger

 

Dr. Hauger graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry (Omaha, NE) in 2017 and went on to specialize in Prosthodontics. She attended a Prosthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota and also a Dental Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Hauger joined Creighton School of Dentistry in Fall 2021 as an assistant professor of Prosthodontics and teaches Complete Dentures, Digital Dentures and Implantology. Part-time, she treats veterans at the Omaha VA Dental Clinic. In her free time, she enjoys weight-lifting, traveling and being a foodie.
