About Dr Kyles
Dr. Christopher Kyles grew up in Last Vegas, Nevada and received his bachelor's degree in biology from Occidental College in Los Angeles. At Occidental, he developed his passion for science, enjoyed his time playing football and competing on the track and field team, and met his future wife, Molly (a Bellingham native). After college, he moved to Portland, Oregon to complete dental school at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).
Dr. Kyles quickly developed an affinity for the Pacific Northwest and was thrilled to get the opportunity to stay in Portland after dental school and complete OHSU's 6-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. This advanced training included two years of medical school, a one-year general surgery internship, and three years of intensive training in head and neck oncology, facial trauma and advanced dentoalveolar surgery including full arch implant rehabilitation.
After residency, Dr. Kyles and his family settled in Bellingham and are delighted to be a part of the Whatcom County community. Dr. Kyles is the father of two young kids, Elenor and Henry, and in his time away from the office, he enjoys traveling with his family, watching and plying sports, brewing beer, and going on walks with the family dog, Maggie.
